Too bad! It’s always great reading reviews by musicians. I, too, enjoy that album and would love to hear what you like so much about it sometime.
Fair enough. The energy grabbed me first. The manipulation of texture and timbre is very compelling. In true trombone dork fashion, the trombone player sounds great (along with the alto player and the tuba player and the trumpet player and the…)
Big fan of this album myself. Love the percussive feel of the whole thing.
